One Thing: Be patient in suffering by establishing your heart in the Lord.

II. How we can grow in patience during suffering by considering these three key areas:

1) Resist Grumbling—how we treat others in suffering (v.9)

2) Remain Faithful—how we stay committed to God in suffering (v.10-11)

3) Refrain from Rash Oaths—how we honor God with our words (v.12)
