Have you ever prayed for something over and over again and thought, "Okay God… are You listening?" Maybe you're waiting for an answer to a prayer, waiting for a friendship to work itself out, waiting on a big decision, or just wondering what in the world God is doing in your life right now. If that's you, I want you to know you're definitely not alone.
Today we're talking all about what it means to wait well when God feels silent. And honestly, waiting can be SO hard. We want answers. We want to know what's next. We want God to give us the plan, preferably with a timeline and step-by-step instructions! But sometimes God doesn't give us all the answers right away. Sometimes He asks us to trust Him before we can see where He's taking us.
We're going to talk about what a waiting season actually looks like, why God being quiet doesn't mean He's gone, and how we can keep growing in our faith even when we feel like nothing is happening. We'll also get really practical about what we can do while we wait—how to keep praying, stay in Scripture, worship even when we don't feel like it, surround ourselves with people who encourage us, and start noticing the little ways God is still showing up.
We'll be talking through Isaiah 40:31 and Psalm 27:14 and reminding ourselves that waiting isn't wasted. Just because you can't see what God is doing doesn't mean He isn't doing anything. Sometimes the most important growth is happening underneath the surface, where we can't see it yet.
And if you're in a waiting season right now, let this be your reminder: you do not have to put your life on pause while you wait for God to answer you. Keep living. Keep growing. Keep making memories. Keep praying. Keep showing up. God can be working in your life while you're still waiting for the answer.
So, let's talk about waiting, trusting God, and learning to find Him even in the quiet.
Because sometimes God's silence isn't confusion—it's an invitation.
