God called Abraham to give up everything to follow Him. Abram was faithful…for a while. And yet he quickly reacts to famine without consulting the God who made the promise. And even when faithful Abraham proved to ultimately waver, God intervened in with Exodus-level power. “When we are faithless God remains faithful for He cannot deny Himself.” (2 Timothy 2:13)
