Scripture--Faith, we need to trust God with great faith. How can we exercise that faith- What will keep our faith strong- What will allow us to turn wholly to God and Jesus Christ in the difficult times- With this message titled faith works the hope is that we see that great works are accomplished by our unwavering faith in or God, by believing in Christ trusting in God. Let-s start this evening sharing this story of the simple expression of faith.----What do you believe oh me oh my, that-s the world we Live in, woo is me every day. From the earliest age we see the news in its negative mentality. We learn to focus on the negative because that is what we learn. Some of us more than others, everyone knows some who it matters not what is going on, there is always something negative coming from them. I read that 91 percent of news cast were negative does this not sound accurate if not just a little under estimated- The missionary couple in our story had gone 10 years without a single convert to Christ in a foreign land. Their faithfulness that God was at work in the ministry was rewarded greatly. When someone finally wishing to encourage them by sending a gift, ask what they would like. It is most clear that their hearts were not troubled, that their faith was in God when the response for the gift for them rather than something they might use for themselves, they ask for a communion set.
