Pastor Thomas Brashears -- Faith is profoundly more than a system of beliefs. We need to know Biblical theology, but faith is not about knowing all the answers. You can have a big theological brain and a diseased heart. The goal of God's Word is life change. True faith is leaning on God's wisdom beyond our own. It is trusting His guidance beyond our understanding. Hebrews 11 teaches that true faith causes radical personal and life transformation. However, we will never be perfect. Therefore, we should cultivate a lifestyle of Biblical dissatisfaction that causes us to confess and turn from sin while racing towards the grace of God.
