As the Apostle Paul draws his 1st Letter to the Church at Corinth to a close in 1st Corinthians 16, he gives them some clear and direct instructions for collecting an offering for the churches in Jerusalem. Through his instructions, we can gain some insight into the "how's", "why's" and importance of including the taking up of an offering each week as a part of our personal and corporate worship.
