Welcome to Ontario Community Church's Sermon Podcast.
Today, Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches on Revelation 3:7-13 titled: Faithful in Weakness, Crowned in Glory.
Jesus commends the church at Philadelphia for their faithfulness despite having little power. Though weak, they kept His word and did not deny His name.
Christ, who holds the key of David, promises them an open door no one can shut, vindication before their enemies, protection from the hour of trial, and a place as pillars in God's temple with His name written upon them.
We'll explore what it means that Christ controls all access, how He provides a way when we are weak, and the eternal rewards promised to those who endure faithfully.
Connected readings include Isaiah 22:22; Luke 11:5-13; Isaiah 60:14; Isaiah 43:4; Luke 22:53; James 1:12; Galatians 2:9; Isaiah 65:17-19.
May we trust in Christ's strength and hold fast to the hope of being crowned in glory.
