2 Corinthians 8:7 (NLT) Since you excel in so many ways—in

your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm,

and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this

gracious act of giving.

These are incredible qualities –faith, knowledge, enthusiasm,

and love. That would be a pretty good person wouldn't it?

But Paul – the author of this letter to the church in Corinth -

says we should EXCEL in giving too.

This message is not to get you to be a generous church,

because you already are a generous church!

Many of you are incredibly generous. We have a people that

love the Lord, that know the joy of giving, that are faithful in

their giving.

Today I want you to be able to see, hear, and feel what

being ‘Faithful’ means from within our church family into the

world around us.

I want it to affect you in such a way that you will either want

to be faithful for the first time, or more faithful than you have

been before, or so radically faithful that it causes people

around you to scratch their heads!

I want it to affect you in such a way that you will EXCEL in

your faithfulness!
