God sometimes shakes up our lives not to destroy us, but to clear away temporary things that won't support His eternal plans. Through Jesus, the true temple, we find lasting hope beyond our own efforts to build worth and success. God restores us not just for our benefit, but to send us out on mission in our everyday places - workplaces, neighborhoods, and relationships. The disruption we experience often prepares the ground for something greater that God wants to build through us.
