Chris Van Heerden (born 19 June 1987) is a South African professional boxer and the former IBO welterweight champion currently living Los Angeles, California
. He has served as the main sparring partner for boxing luminaries such as Saul "Canelo" Álvarez
and Miguel Cotto, also as well as Connor McGregor both of whom had professional boxing bouts with Floyd Mayweather.
