Creatives, lets be real with ourself for a moment. Let's check our bad habits at the door and honestly leave it there forever. This was on my heart to talk about due to me happening upon an old short I wrote back in 2017 that at the time I didn't realize how epic and amazing my work was. I was so good at being the biggest critic of my self I constantly told my self no. Looking  back on it, I didn't do anything to service myself, benefit my self or give to my self to help grow my craft. And I am putting a stop to this very bad habit! We are a work in progress but we are working through this process! 

It's Good Friday ya'll! This one is to all my POC's out there, I thought i'd do a quick story time. I'm sure this has happened to many black women out there. But we must always remember how our feelings and voice matters, corporate or not. We shouldn't have to decipher between muffling our voice and our comfort for the sake of others. Don't touch my hair edition!

Creatives! Welcome back to another episode! Ok, this week we're talking about adapting! As this change on a daily bases we cant sit idle waiting to be told what to do. We must hone the skill to adapt to change, continue moving and molding ourselves for the better! Let's chat about what the ability to adapt to change means to you. Also, I wanted to talk about some tweets and social media things I've been seeing lately! Seems some people feel they are being attacked with post saying to use this time to formulate a new skill, a new stream of income etc. However, this my friends is not an attack... It is a push to stay pushing forward and refrain from becoming idle!

Happy Tuesday Creatives! Let's talk about Permission! This is an interesting topic for me because I started realizing I don't and have not given myself permission with a lot of things outside of acting. As I learned this about myself in acting class. Now where does this come from? I think it's important when we find barriers about ourself we dig deeper to find where and when did it arrive in us in order to break down these barriers that deflate us. Thoughts?
