We tend to be loyal to beliefs rather than facts, and we allow ourselves to be influenced by ideas that reinforce our ideology, even if they are false flags and fake news. It doesn't matter to us if they are lies and distortions because we want to believe what we believe is true. We want to stay in our bubble. We do this because we believe that this will keep us safe. It doesn't. It makes our world more insecure and unstable. We need to have the courage to look at the dark side of the institutions and the people that we look to for leadership. We need to call them out and make them accountable no matter how inconvenient or unpleasant it might be to do so. Bottom Line: Above all else, there must be Truth.
