The Falcons, who were third in the league in rushing last season, drafted Texas running back Bijan Robinson with eighth overall pick in the draft. The Falcons passed on Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter, who was taken on the next pick by the Philadelphia Eagles. The Falcons liked Robinson's versatility and believe he can help the offense.
