The Atlanta Falcons picked in the top 10 for the 27th time in franchise history and selected Texas running back Bijan Robinson. He was rated as the No. 2 player in the draft by ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay. After the first, the Falcons stayed with players from Power 5 conference schools. They took players from the ACC, Big 10, Pac 12 and two from the SEC. They choose three offensive and three defensive players. Robinson and second-round pick Matthew Bergeron are projected to be starters, while defensive Zach Harrison should contribute to the defensive line rotation. Fourth-round pick cornerback Clark Phillips III and seventh-round pick safety DeMarcco Hellams could contribute on special teams right away. Phillips looks like a nickel back. Offensive guard Jovaughn Gwyn could provide center/guard depth.
