Falcons quarterbacks Marcus Mariota and Desmond Ridder, both made plays to help them defeat the Detroit Lions 27-23 on Friday night at Ford Field. Ridder tossed a 21-yard touchdown pass to Jared Bernhardt with 1:30 to play to pull out the win. Defensive tackle Timothy Horne had a big fumble recovery to get the offense the ball back with 2:00 to play. Cornerback Dee Alford led the Falcons with eight tackles and had an interception.
