Love is a most healing balm
filling two lives with calm

lest soon enough love

When it comes to love
it tolerates no harm
it will fill other’s arms
with yours left empty
they will have plenty
you won’t have any.
If you reject love
one too many times
love will intently seek
out others who are eager
to share it’s wonders
while your own love
life grows meager
Until your flesh is
placed down under
and your dreams torn asunder
love is the great interrupter
but if it is then disrupted
your path may be adjusted
to a solo place
