The most dangerous place to be in all the universe is the place where there is no grace.  Sadly so many people who follow Jesus don't get the way grace works.  So many are happy to be saved by grace, but then live by merit.  It is a wild piece of headspace but the truth is,  to be living in "grace-ville" there is no such thing as down - only up.
