A good continuation of the series
I liked this story but not as much as the first one. I felt that the characters needed to spend more time together before developing such a deep bond and love. It felt like insta love to me. I really hated that the villain owned the entire county and never got his comeuppance. The story seemed very short and I would have liked to see the characters fleshed out more.
There is one sexual scene and some mild violence in this story.

A child should have the right to be cared for and to have basic human needs met.
In this story, Diana is the functional parent in her home with an epileptic younger sister and her mother who spends time dealing and hooking. As a teenager, she sees Andy and the Authorities as sources of help and hope, only to be condemned by them because of her mother. As an adult. Diana wants to show they were wrong to put her through that and that they should have helped. Great storyline. Fantastic Read!
Liked it...quick read
Great book if your looking for a quick read with enjoyable characters. Would have liked more background on Jed-good description of his personality but no reason why he is who he is. Diana was completely described so you know who she is and where she's going.
Good story but too short
I love reading romance novels. They let me dream of what could be. I really like this story and feel it could have been so much better if it was longer. It seems like the main characters went from strangers to being married in less than a month. While that is great, it would have made the story better if they had more time to get to know each other.

Not sure who will be my favorite couple. Brad and Emily have been. Now they all are. You will not be able to put this book down
