When you are falling into love

you are tumbling towards

life’s softest cushion

the embrace of her warm body

the velvet grip of her lips

catching you with a kiss

you don’t need a parachute

you just need to pair up with her

it becomes an obsession

till neither one of you

are left guessing

as you enter love’s next sessions

where love becomes a

spiritual, emotional, intellectual

and physical expression

When you have fallen into love

gravity becomes so sweet

all that’s fleshly is a treat

as she hardens what’s soft

and conversations become

you no longer tripping

can be so damn painful

often shameful

or hateful or caused

when two are no longer playful

when a frown becomes

the only thing facial

that is offered you

everything hurts

from the absence

of what brought

you sheer joy

acres of sheets mock you

where he/she once lay

there’s no point in

getting up each day

and after you fall

out of love you pray

that it will come back someday

but that usually is

followed by no way

when you fall out of love

absolutely nothings O.K.

One must maintain the balance

between two after they have

already fallen for each other

because that perfect balance

can guarantee you will

never have to fall again

you will never have tofall again
