Isaiah 2-4

Old Testament prophets at times seemed to be looking through a microscope to their present situation, and at other times through a telescope at the distant future. In Chapters 2 to 4, Isaiah does both, providing a contrasting picture of what Israel is called to be by God and what she has turned out to be in terms of her history, as well as what the future holds.
