Session Zero & Character Introductions

Season 3 begins with a Session Zero designed to welcome both new players and longtime fans of tabletop RPGs. Rick Rollins and Simon Vaughn introduce the Fallout tabletop roleplaying system, covering the core mechanics, tone, and expectations for surviving in the wasteland. The overview is intentionally brief before transitioning into live play, with rules and limitations explained organically as they arise.

The table then introduces the characters who will shape this campaign:

• Kendra, a Wasteland Survivor hardened by life after the bombs, played by Raven Rollins
• Dr. Quantum, a doctor and robotics engineer navigating the line between science and survival, played by Bill Shackleford
• Boltsley, a Mister Handy whose programming doesn’t quite limit his personality, played by Simon Vaughn
• Thump, a super mutant whose strength and presence make him impossible to ignore, played by Max Winchester

This episode lays the groundwork for the campaign ahead, blending guided learning, character-driven storytelling, and the dark, satirical tone that defines Fallout’s post-nuclear world.
