Littlepip escapes from Appleloosa aboard a train with Velvet remedy and the ponies she rescued by killing the alicorn in the slave-driven town.

The train she is riding on is boarded by a group of slavers intending on taking back their 'merchandise.'

Velvet also has her first taste of what the Wasteland is really like.
