Fallout Season 2, Episode 7 is called 'The Handoff' and it might be the most morally uncomfortable episode of the series so far — and that’s saying something. So many moral choices! ⚠️ Spoiler Warning: We spoil all major plot points, reveals, and twists from Fallout Season 2 Episode 7.
Welcome back to Cinema So Far, the podcast where good friends talk about great cinema, because “The Hand Off” isn’t just about passing an object from one character to another — it’s about passing responsibility, power, guilt, and blame… and watching everything get worse.
In this FULL SPOILER recap and deep dive, we break down the penultimate episode of Fallout Season 2 — an episode packed with brutal reveals, dark comedy, and some of the most important setup the show has done yet.
Overall, we were much happier than last episode — it felt like they’re finally getting to some stuff. This one grew on us the second watch, and it felt like everyone was in this episode, like all the main characters played at least some part in it. We talk about serialized TV and pacing too — waiting two or three years between seasons is brutal, and we wouldn’t mind a longer finale.
And then the big question heading into the finale: what’s in the box?
In this episode, we dive into:This episode doesn’t give easy answers — it asks harder questions.
And by the end, Fallout isn’t asking who deserves power…
It’s asking what power does to everyone who touches it.
If you’re watching the Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime and want deep analysis that still laughs at the absurdity — you’re in the right vault.
