Jesus is the Apostle as well as Hight Priest of our faith (Heb 3:1). Therefore His life is the standard of true apostleship. Paul dealt with false apostles in 2 Cor.11:13. Jesus commends the church in Ephesus for discerning false apostles among them. (Rev. 2:2)  Unfortunately they are still among us today.
