Fame Is A BITCH !!
Fame is a bitch
who's elusive and cold,
many men trying to wed her
wind up humble and old,
she whispers sweet nothings,
each false promise foretold,
then she heartbreaks relentlessly,
stealing hope from your soul.
Fame is also a pimp
with young girls as his slaves,
promising they'll be Divas,
offering fortunes they crave,
wallowing on his casting couch,
till they are depraved,
more streetwalkers in Hollywood
no one can save.

It's simply the facts,
although some get a break,
fame is a succubus,
who feeds on the aches....
to be something not nothing,
do whatever it takes,
but fame's path winds
through graveyards
full of those it forsakes
Money too is the root
of all evil they say,
it's the sin most of us
love committing each day,
chasing after those cash cows
till we've butchered the herd,
then we wind up in trailers
dressed in something absurd.
Chasing pleasured possessions
plus the glimmer of bling,
fancy cars.... luxury houses,
on our leash of purse strings,
some stoop so low they murder,
or they'll rob other folks,
cause society puts stigmas
on those who are broke.
