Her research involves developing a hydrogel biocell delivery vehicle for cell replacement therapy. She has held various leadership positions within SHPE and received the Graduate Student Role Model Award at the 2022 SHPE National Convention. Adriana works with Dr. Andres Garcia in the field of biomaterials and is passionate about STEM and empowering younger generations. Representation and community are essential to her, and she encourages others to embrace their uniqueness in STEM.
