The Mission of the Family
God didn’t design families or singles for convenience, but for mission. From Genesis to Jesus to the early church, God works through households as powerful centers of disciple-making and gospel witness (Genesis 1:28; Genesis 12:1–2; John 20:21). In this episode, we explore how families become lifelong teams on mission, how singles live with focused, undivided devotion (1 Corinthians 7:32–35), and why Scripture treats the home as one of God’s primary delivery systems for His Kingdom (Ephesians 5:21–33; 6:1–4).
We’ll ask some honest questions: What story is your household telling - survival or sending? Are your family rhythms forming disciples, or just managing life? If you’re single, is your freedom aimed toward undivided devotion to the Lord? Discover how faithful households, imperfect but intentional, can become disciple-making hubs through which God transforms people, neighborhoods, and cities.
