God has given children to parents as a great gift. Parents are commanded by God to equip and disciple these special gifts. Thousands of years ago God called the leaders of their homes to listen up and hear His words and do them. He called the parents of the home to shape their children so they would see the world rightly. He wanted them to have a biblical worldview. To do that God knew that parents would need to speak the Word of God to their children each day, so that their thinking would be changed to be aligned with God’s commands. This mandate given thousands of years ago is still the calling of parents who love and follow the Lord today. May you be challenged today to hear and do, to see and shape, and lastly to think and speak.
