In movies, there are main and side characters. The main characters often get more screen time, more lines, and more attention while the side characters support the main characters and get little screen, little to no lines, and little attention.
For movies, main and side characters make sense. For our lives, they don't. We as humans try to be main characters when there is only one who deserves the spotlight. We make life all about us and our wants when we should be focusing on being a side character who supports the main character.
Someone who understood her role as a side character in life is Mary, the mother of Jesus.
