You've probably never stopped to think about this when starting a fire in your fireplace, at a campsite, or even when lighting a candle...

But it takes three ingredients to create fire.

1. Kindling or Fuel.
2. Oxygen (no air, no fire...)
3. Source of Ignition

Scripture tells us to "quench not the Spirit, or fire of God." However, we are all guilty of doing this to some degree or level from time to time.

The word "quench" quite literally means: to put out, extinguish, or satisfy thirst.

Ouch... I don't want to be guilty of doing that!

We must be constantly stirring up the embers of our heart ... what once was on fire for God, but has started to die out. We must add more fuel and more air to the fire.

Let today's message be a challenge to you to stir up the fire of God in your heart and life!
