Listen Later

Fanny Cochrane Smith was a proud First Nations woman who maintained her connection to her culture as an act of resistance throughout the 19th century in Tasmania.

She became the first Aboriginal recording artist by recording her traditional language through song in order to preserve it.

This week both Chōle and Jussy took a deep dive into Brene Brown’s ‘Atlas of the Heart’ on Binge and cannot recommend it enough.

Chōle also recommended two podcast an episodes;

Brene Brown’s - ‘Unlocking Us’ with Karen Walrond on Accessing Joy and Finding Connection.

And Mia Freedman’s - ‘No Filter’ with Hugh van Cuylenberg.
