They're following their hearts and trusting their instincts because their hearts are telling them where to go and their instincts are telling them how to get there.  

Relieved from answering to outside influences, Taoists live from the heart, maximizing their time and their talents. They have found that when they do this what is meant to happen in their life generally does happen.
