Fantasy Football Week 6 Start and Sit

Hello Heat Seekers, welcome to episode 108 of Sully’s 2 Cents Fantasy Football Podcast, I am you host Rob Sullivan. Sully’s 2 Cents Fantasy Football Podcast is a proud member of the RotoHeat family of podcasts.

The Covid-19 pandemic continues to reek havoc over the schedule makers in the NFL. We lost the Broncos and Patriots last week, and had a Tuesday night special as a result. We also had some serious schedule realignment for the coming weeks.

The league announced last Sunday afternoon a number of scheduling changes stemming from this week’s postponement. Among them is that the Broncos-Patriots game will be moved to Week 6 and played on Sunday.

Seven other games were affected by the postponement. Hang in there with me this is messy and somewhat confusing.

The Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills Week 6 game moves from Thursday, Oct.15 to Monday, Oct. 19 at 5:00 p.m.

The New York Jets at Miami Dolphins game moves from Week 10 to Week 6

The Jets at Los Angeles Chargers game moves from Week 6 to Week 11

The Jacksonville Jaguars at Chargers game moves from Week 8 to Week 7

The Chargers at Broncos game moves from Week 11 to Week 8

The Dolphins at Broncos game moves from Week 6 to Week 11

As a result, six teams will now have different bye weeks.

Denver’s bye week moves from Week 8 to Week 5; New England’s bye week moves from Week 6 to Week 5; Los Angeles’ bye week moves from Week 10 to Week 6; Miami’s bye week moves from Week 11 to Week 7; Jacksonville’s bye week moves from Week 7 to Week 8; and New York’s bye week moves from Week 11 to Week 10.

Personally the Chargers bye week moving into this week hurts me in a lot of leagues, on the positive side it also allows all my Keenan Allen shares to get healthy, and gets Austin Ekeler one week closer to retuning without losing a game on the schedule.

In total, ten games have now been rescheduled to different weeks this season. Week 4’s Pittsburgh Steelers-Tennessee Titans matchup was moved to Week 7 after multiple Titans players and personnel tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, Pittsburgh’s game against the Baltimore Ravens was moved from Week 7 to Week 8.

Today we are talking start sit for week six. Week 5 was better, I missed at the QB position as both Matt Ryan and Kirk Cousins were a disappointment. Starting Mike Davis and Todd Gurley was a homerun as they finished 1 & 2 at the position last week. Darrell Henderson continues to be my 2020 kryptonite. WR wasn’t great and TE wasn’t either. By the way, last week I suggested you sit AJ Green, this week you should drop him if you haven’t already.

Ok, Week six. Bonus part of all the schedule fluctuation is we do not have a Thursday night game in Week 6. Ok same drill this week, two starts and two sits at each position, lets get into this.
