Fantasy Receipts: Why Dreams Without Structure Are Just Entertainment
A dream without structure is just entertainment.
It feels good to talk about.
It feels good to imagine.
It feels good to tell people what you are going to build.
But if there is no plan, no calendar, no system, no sacrifice, and no repeated action, then it is not a dream yet.
It is a fantasy.
And a lot of people are addicted to the feeling of having a dream more than they are committed to the responsibility of building one.
They like the vision.
They like the idea.
They like the identity of being ambitious.
But they do not like the structure that ambition requires.
That is fantasy receipts.
It is when your mouth has a dream, but your life has no evidence.
Because your dream needs receipts.
It needs time blocked.
It needs habits.
It needs deadlines.
It needs sacrifice.
It needs a boring plan that gets repeated when the motivation is gone.
So today, stop asking, “What do I want?”
Ask, “What structure have I built to prove I actually want it?”
Because dreams do not become real because they sound good.
They become real when your life starts making room for them.
