An established force after a decade working in the sphere of club-friendly electronic music, Danny Murphy aka Far Distance has carved out a sizable niche with his distinctive blend of underground House, Melodic Techno, and Progressive House. Previously a duo with more than a century of production credits to their name, Danny continues to carry the torch with recent works appearing on Einmusika, Beatfreak, Exx Muzik, Astral Records, and Black Rose, amongst many others.

Furthermore, Far Distance has released numerous hits on Perspectives each year dating back to 2021's "Hyperspace" (alongside Stefan Addo), while subsequent EP's "Alfa Centauri" and "Dangerous" cemented their reputation. This meticulously crafted triptych has afforded Far Distance the opportunity to emerge as a continually rising force under the auspices of Darin Epsilon's iconic imprint. Consequently, their music has found favor with celebrated names as Solomun, Lane 8, Cosmic Gate, and Ukrainian superstar DJ, Miss Monique, performed in front of thousands of adoring fans at the likes of Tomorrowland, Afterlife, and Amnesia Ibiza.

Returning with a fourth original EP, "Keep On Moving" is a powerful statement of authoritative rhythmic force as a whip-cracking kick, offbeat snare, and metronomic hi-hats provide a trademark framework for a running 16th note bassline. Quickly hitting its stride, a smooth motif provides a perfect audio hook, while a female vocal repeats a spoken-voice sample that extends in loquacious fashion at the beatless midpoint. Immaculate key changes create spine-tingling emotion either side of a rousing breakdown of snare rolls and white noise fills, before a subtle new melody is introduced in the final phrase to superb effect.

"Motor Recycled" continues the high-energy backdrop with a kick that powerfully cuts through the mix alongside rapid-fire hats. A bassline groove adds further urgency while a repetitive arpeggio sequence creates vibrancy aplenty. Juxtaposed against the dancefloor urgency, an emotive breakdown strips away all rhythmic elements before a chorus of counterpoint melodies filter into aural range with a potent hands-in-the-air moment. Reaching its zenith once more through snare fills and white-noise risers, "Motor Recycled" drops back into bassline dominance before familiar melodic components are re-introduced. The resultant dynamic sonic landscape is the hallmark of an artist at the peak of his production prowess.
