I'll never forget the day my friend’s father passed away. Chen Baba, as I’ve always called him, was sort of like my Taiwanese dad, with my own dad living far away in America. I took the first plane back down to Taitung in southeastern Taiwan to spend time with his family. And while I was down there, I heard a song that moved me beyond words.
I’m Andrew Ryan and in today’s Ear to the Ground, I bring you a heartfelt song in honor of a father, a husband, the patriarch of a large family.
