This week, there will be a vote on the Farm Act of 2018 which has inserted the language from the Hemp Act, which will take industrial hemp off the Controlles Substance Act which is currently a federal crime. 

Stated like Kentucky have already started producing hemp instead of tabacco and the results have been positive.
