Following the weeks of beef protests outside the

meat factories, two producer groups have been

formed. Amy Forde, Deputy News Editor, Irish Farmers

Journal has an update on developments. Amy has

written two articles in the October 5th issue of the

Irish Farmers Journal.

Liz Duffy, Dairy B. & T. Dairy Advisor with Teagasc

Knockgriffin, Midleton, has details of several interesting

events taking place next week.

has results from the latest ploughing match and

Michael Morrissey Farm Planner with IRD Duhallow

“ Farming for Blue Dot Catchments” has a reminder

about next Monday evening’s Information Meeting

at the James O‘Keeffe Institute , Newmarket,

starting 7pm. All welcome to attend, particularly

local farmers.

Details of ICMSA  and IFA meetings planned for

early next week in Cork West.
