Podcast 126
The 2020 election is drawing ever closer. The media has been giving all of the attention to the Democrat Debates or President Trump. During this time, the U.S. House of Representatives has been passing bills that would drastically change the American Immigration system. Podcast 125 presented you with the New Way Forward Act. Another form of legislation has also been passed in the house. The Farm Workforce Modernization Act is very similar in scope. Podcast 126 will discuss the Farm Workforce Modernization Act of 2019 and how this piece of legislation is a backdoor to amnesty for illegals.
H.R. 5038 the Farm Workforce Modernization Act
I have to first begin this podcast by thanking a loyal listener for bringing it to my attention. While I do spend a good bit of time in research, I had missed this bill. So “thank you” to Joe for bringing this to my attention. This helped in writing podcast 126. The piece of legislation I want to present to you is H.R. 5038. Proposed by Zoe Lofgren, a Democrat from California, is about illegals working in our country. This includes provisions establishing a certified agricultural worker (CAW) status and changing the temporary worker program. So yet again the Democrat-controlled house has used misidentifying language.

To put this into basic math let us say you work 40 hours a week for two years. Minus two weeks each year for a vacation, you will work 4,000 hours. In other words, an illegal would only have to work 10 hours a week for two years to qualify. So why does this matter?
Farm Workforce Modernization Act and Illegals
The Farm Workforce Modernization Act of 2019 then allows anyone who receives CAW status to apply for lawful permanent resident status. In other words, if you work 10 hours a week for two years, you are then granted citizenship. But the policy does not stop with a quick path to citizenship. By this piece of legislation, any illegal who applies cannot be detained or deported once they have a pending application. Detainment or deportation cannot take place until a formal final decision is made by the Department of Homeland security.
As people with common sense, we know that government bureaucracy takes forever for the final decisi...
