The Farrer by-election has been scheduled for Saturday, 9 May, following Sussan Ley's departure from the seat. The federal electorate, which includes the border city of Albury in southern New South Wales, will see a four-way contest between the Liberals, Nationals, One Nation and a Climate 200-backed independent. Opposition leader Angus Taylor has acknowledged the challenge of retaining the division for the Liberal Party.
