The party, after their adventures in Moonstone Magic, make their way to the Prancing Pony where they meet up with Velik. Upon arrival, Emari's school friend caught a thief and without skipping a beat sat down with them to have a meal. It was revealed that this thief is a changeling named Nox. Haiko, now angry with what he sees, eventually takes out his drunken fury out on Velik. The drow, angry, reveals a bit of his story and storms out after leaving coin to pay for his drink and Nox's meal. Haiko and Velik have a moment where they speak with one another and Velik agrees to tell his whole story.

The party learns his truth, that his fiancé has been missing for fifty years with barely a trace left behind. The party bonds, friends reunite, and hearts are bared.

Now the party has a quest, and a fiancé to help find.....
