The party rests for the night, having various levels of comfort or discomfort from various dreams or dreamless night. They gather that morning, Haiko having the worst of it, and prepare for figuring out a mode of transportation.

Deciding to go do an odd job for Kairan Dinorn, Haiko speaks with her husband Nero afterword. The party then take a journey to the Underdark Quarter to find the Book Emporium.

They are greeted with a ransacked store, learning that the possible employees were killed and magic was used within the building. Before the mystery can be solved, Nox finds a curious book about a country linked to the shadow weave and a thieves guild by similar names.
