The party speaks with Lady Lilliana, who takes them to a communion room. While there, the party has a long discussion on how they shall proceed, only for Lady Lilliana to show her favor and grant them two communions. The first is with her god, Corellon Larethian, and the second with the Dark Lady. The Dark Lady makes her demand, and Velik stops Heiko from making an impulsive decision.

Velik faces the consequences of his actions, and nearly pays the ultimate price for it.

Faced with a time limit on how to escape The Dark Lady's demands, and the weight of their actions hanging over them. Suddenly, death feels that much closer.
