Fashion Designer Houida Al Braidi 
A Syrian fashion designer started as an amateur while studying English literature at Damascus University. Though young, Houida was the first to present two shows in Syria, both shows were highly appraised by the audience as well as the media.

Houida moved to the UAE in the year 1997 where she established her own fashion house. She has now turned into a professional especially after the several successful shows in Dubai, Beirut, Paris, as well as Rome.

In 2005 Houida Al Braidi broke the records in Italy when she was asked to dress the Miss Italy participants for the year, whereas usually, an Italian designer would take the project.

Houida is one of the most creative designers in the Arab world where the Arab press calls her: the Fancy castle designer. Her line of fashion has the royal touch that she acquired while she was studying various cultures of the world. Her line is known for the choice of colors and the textiles that suits the modern woman, which is why many Arab and Non-Arab celebrities choose her designs. She has turned to be a guide for most fashion shows.

In 2010 Houida earned P.H.D. DEGREE in encouraging creativity from INTERNATIONAL CREATIVITY CENTER and their contributions to the development of the fashion world for years to assume the title of Ketorp Houida.
