On this episode of Fast Break 'The Off-Season' I was joined by Bristol Flyers captain and Founder of our sponsor of the show A&K Performance, Raphell Thomas-Edwards. Raphell spend a small time with the South West Slammers in 2022, while signing with the Eastern Suns at the start of the season, but due to injuries he couldn't suit up. He is looking to make a big impact and is eying another shot to be back to Perth in 2024!

The first episode of Fast Break the 'Off-Season' for 2022. We had CEO and Head Coach of the women's Cockburn Cougars over the phone, we talked about the signings so far from the Cougars and our other clubs. We spoke about Tyrone's time at 92.9FM and his expectations for his girls in 2023.
Perth Lynx & newest member of the Perry Lakes Hawks Emma Clarke joins me over the phone this week from Ballarat, Victoria. We spoke about the border closures over here in WA and they have left the Lynx stranded and unknown on when they will be able to return home. Emma will return back to her junior club in 2022, shes a hawk again and we spoke on the upcoming NBL1 season. Emma has also spent time in the states at college and returned home early due to COVID, Clarke is a dynamic forward who can spread the floor with her length, her shooting and can defend many positions, a big future ahead for her.
This is the last recorded episode of 2021! A big year for our show but most importantly the NBL1 West, on the show we had our co-host Max Wilson who has spent years around the Joondalup/Wanneroo are and is a Wolves historian. Our guest who has spent time as a player and assistant coach at Redbacks and most recently had a great stint as an assistant with the Joondalup Wolves. He is now the new Head Coach of the Eastern Suns womens division, Tim Rendulic is an exciting coach and we will see how he can adapt from first mate to captain of the ship.
On this episode co-founder of Aussie Prospects and assistant coach of the Goldfields Giants Ash McCormick joined me in the Edge Entertainment studios, we discussed his role with the Giants in the NBL1 West in 2021 and we spoke about the Aussie Prospects which is something very close to his heart.
On this episode Matt Leary from the Perry Lakes Hawks stopped by for another session of 'The Off-Season'. Matt is coming off a stellar 2021 season for the Hawks who went on to win the inaugural NBL1 West Championship. we talked about how he felt during the finals run and the feeling of winning his first championship, this guy is someone the league is watching to make a big jump next season in 2022.
