Despite opposition from labor, environment, privacy, public health and other activists—and growing numbers of Democrats—the “trade promotion authority” bill, giving President Obama the ‘fast track’  for the Trans Pacific Partnership deal,  made it to Congress late yesterday.   Kris Welch talks with trade analyst Dr. Ellen Shaffer and Jason Kearns, chief international trade counsel for the Senate’s Ways and Means Committee.
