It's been a while since I worked on something like this, let alone music in general...

Between college, the lockdown, personal/work stress, and an infuriating ear infection, I've been on and off with sound period. Not being able to enjoy music properly has been one of the most life-draining things I've ever lived through. Couple that with no motivation/depression, and you got an unhealthy cocktail of emotions. It wasn't until very recently that, in both pure anger and bliss, I yelled "what the hell" towards the heavens above and decided to make something out of this.

Flashes of life, both past and present, assaulted me when thinking about what to put into this song. The songs I sampled here, the pace, bass, cuts and stops... It's all a culmination of my thoughts and feelings as of recent.

I originally started this song back in February, in an attempt to one-up myself after the success of FREEHARDSAMPLE!!!...

That's when I realized that I couldn't work anything like that. Not this. Not like this.

So, I made this. Because this is me.

Things have gotten better--or rather, I've gotten better. I've found a new purpose in my music; life, in general. I don't need to be the best. I don't need to satisfy anyone. Because what is music, but a reflection of the artist? This, regardless of what you say or want, is FASTHARDSAMPLE!!! (or FHS2!!!, if you will), because this is what I want.

But it isn't the end.

I'm fine, don't worry.

I genuinely appreciate all the support y'all have given me. Thank you all.

I'll have more music done. I won't stop, no matter what.

In regards to the BMS... well, after isocosa made a surprise "sofla" chart for the original FHS!!!, I went to her and told her. "add as many sofla as possible". She delivered. This track is meant to represent the anger and pace of the song. Feel the song. That is the only way to clear these charts.

Also, I asked her to make 9k charts for those who play with Pop'n controllers! Please, practice this song plenty.
