The Prophet ﷺ said what means: “The Fast and the Qur’an will intercede for the believer. The Fast will say: ‘O my Lord, I prevented him from eating and drinking during the day, so allow me to intercede for him.’ And the Qur’an will say: ‘Oh my Lord, I had prevented him from sleeping at night, so allow me to intercede for him.’”

قَالَ صلى الله عليه وسلم :« الصِّيَامُ وَالْقُرْءانُ يَشْفَعَانِ لِلْعَبْدِ، يَقُولُ الصِّيَامُ: أَيْ رَبِّ، إِنِّي مَنَعْتُهُ الطَّعَامَ وَالشَّهَوَاتِ بِالنَّهَارِ، فَشَفِّعْنِي فِيهِ. وَيَقُولُ الْقُرْءانُ: رَبِّ، إِنِّي مَنَعْتُهُ النَّومَ بِاللَّيْلِ، فَشَفِّعْنِي فِيهِ، فَيُشَفَّعَانِ» رواه أحمد.
