Acts 14:23 

Paul and Barnabas appointed eldersfn for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust

 36There was also a prophet, Anna, the daughter of Penuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage,

37and then was a widow until she was eighty-four.fn She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying

Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul.

2While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them
