Happy Father's Day

What a Word. It isn't a very soft word but a strong one.

Makes you stand at attention at just the sound of it.

Father

Disciplinary 

Protector 

Provider 

Counselor 

He sets the compass

The temperament 

He's feared and Revered 

Respected and Adventurous 

He's the Challenge you want to meet and the one most you want to make proud.

He asks for so little yet requires so much of you.

That you be your best and survive your tests.

He gives more than he takes and doesn't require a ton of thanks

A Father's greatest reward is your loyalty and truth. Your honor, health and wealth.

To be purposeful and not wasteful of your time on earth

Your survival and legacy for you bear his name. His love lives in the deep, than on the surface  never wavering. His emotions are reserved but not empty. His words are few but impactful. He's Father and you can count on him. He strives. He tries,  He says  He does. He isn't perfect but he is perfectly who he is. I  wouldn't have it any other way or be any other way as a father. Content, courageous and Constant.
